Coach Training

USAT CEU Programs

These programs provide 7.5 USAT CEUs, and are limited to 20 students per class. The cost is $95 for USAT certified coaches, or $115 for non-certified coaches or athletes.

Bottled water will be provided, but attendees should bring their own lunch. During the 90-minute lunchtime period, there will be a round-table discussion, and all participants will be expected to share their thoughts and experiences on the topic at hand.

Topic 2: Oxidative Stress and Free Radicals

Topic 3: Triathlon Training Emergencies
Practical advice from an emergency medicine physician, by David B. Phillips, M.D., 45 minutes

Topic 4: Effort Based Training
How to apply and adapt the theories to real life training plans, by Wayne Vartabedian, 90 minutes
