I bought my first XTERRA wetsuit before the start of the 2009 season. Between coaching and my own training, I am in the open water a lot, and I am hard on wetsuits - getting into and out of kayaks when coaching, for example, and often putting them on wet for double sessions - so I usually need a new wetsuit every year. In early 2009 I selected the XTERRA Vector Pro X2 John for two reasons: first because the price was reasonable, and second because I wanted a sleeveless suit for later in the season when the water warms up a bit. The suit was so comfortable that I ended up using it for racing the entire season - even in colder water.
